The Televator II is a high fidelity, extremely durable,
hands-free auto dial telephone designed for elevator
emergency applications. At the press of a button, the
Televator II dials a programmed telephone number. If the
number is busy or does not answer, the Televator will
hang up and dial a programmed backup number.
The Televator II offers a unique microphone control
feature. It allows the attendant who answers the
emergency call to remotely mute the unit's microphone.
This aids communications if there is excessive ambient
noise in the elevator cab or area around the Televator.
Televator helps achieve compliance with the Americans
with Disabilities Act by offering a call progress lamp
as standard, and a Braille identification plate.
